Welcome to The Compassionate Friends Marin Chapter
We are sorry for the reason you are here, and we are glad you found us. If you are newly bereaved and are visiting our website for the first time, we lovingly welcome you to the Marin Chapter of The Compassionate Friends.
The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a national, self-help organization for families that have experienced the death of a child, regardless of the age of the child or the cause of death. We welcome parents, siblings, family members, and friends whose children have died from any cause. We provide a safe, caring support group for grieving, listening, and sharing.
Our Meetings
It takes courage to attend a first meeting. We have a support system that only other bereaved families can offer because we can share feelings openly and honestly with people who understand.
Our monthly meetings are held at Christ Presbyterian Church in Terra Linda on the 3rd Monday of each month.
Our Organization
The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, friendship, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.
There is no religious affiliation. There are no membership fees or dues, and all bereaved family members are welcome.
